Nedbank Zimbabwe warns of system failure

Nedbank Zimbabwe warns of system failure
Published: 19 March 2018
Nedbank Zimbabwe, formerly MBCA, has warned customers of possible system failures during the rebranding exercise.

Speaking at press statement held in the capital on Monday, the bank’s managing director, Charity Jinya said the new system might disrupt the smooth flow of business.

Jinya said the new banking system will be supported by a new contact centre whose 24-hour presence would endeavour to solve customer problems.

Jinya said clients would not be able to access cash easily when outside the country despite the bank's presence in the region.

She added that the rebranding exercise would help the bank leverage on Nedbank's group name.

She said the bank now has 1,800 Point of Sale machines and is looking to invest heavily in POS hardware.
