Former cabinet minister Saviour Kasukuwere has been acquitted by Harare Magistrate Josephine Sande following a short trial today.
Kasukuwere was facing charges of violating the country's immigration law by unlawfully exiting the country using an undesignated port of exit.
However, the court was satisfied that his life had been threatened following a visit to his luxurious mansion in Harare yesterday.
